About Daily Shikaku
Overview
Create rectangles and squares on the screen. Each rectangle may only contain 1 number and should contain as many cells as indicated by the number.
How to play Daily Shikaku
Find the numbered cells on the board.
Divide the grid into rectangles or squares, each containing exactly one number.
Make each region’s area equal its number and cover the board without overlaps.
Tips & strategy
- List the possible rectangle dimensions for a clue: 6 can be 1 × 6 or 2 × 3.
- Start near corners or other fixed regions, where fewer shapes fit.
Common questions
Can one rectangle contain two numbers?
